Finding the light switch

Its amazing, just learning a simple technique can give you that ah ha moment. I haven't painted the tree yet but I will tonight, and since I'm trying to do Christmas cards I will try to add snow. Practice, practice, practice. Thank you sooo much. Even turning on a light can be difficult until someone shows you where the switch is.

I have been drawing all my life but watercolours are new to me but im addicted. the sideways brush technique is something I have seen in chinese brush painting - do you know anything about it?

I have been painting successful trees for a long time but could never find a reliable way of putting those fine twigs on the end of a winter tree. The secret as Bob has shown is having the brush held sideways and working from the outside inwards. These videos aren't just for beginners. There is something for everyone. Many thanks.
